Cynthia Mbamalu is the Programs Manager of YIAGA AFRICA, a youth-based and youth-led NGO that has a mission to build and support sustainable democracy’s anchored on the principles of inclusion, accountability and justice through research, advocacy and capacity development.
She has been on the fore-front of bridging the gender gap and advocating for the inclusion of young people especially women in Nigeria’s democracy.
As a strategic member of the #NotTooYoungToRun movement, her work revolves around the Nigerian electoral system, youth capacity building, anti-corruption advocacy and legislative strengthening. Her motivation has remained issue-based and community driven;
